The preview of Jack and the Beanstalk went extremely well.  The children of 1st class performed to a packed hall at lunch time.  Everyone was wowed with their creative piece which included excellent singing and acting, puppet and light effects, dancing and lots of sounds.  Well done Mrs McCann & class

programme-pageJoe Murphy was a great help ensuring that technical equipment was in place and working. Carol McCann spent the morning in a state of nervousness finalizing all the costumes and props. Carmel O’Riordan was a calm influence taking on last minute jobs in an assuring no fuss manner. All this while I fought with the movie projector and sound equipment overseeing the back-stage crew.

Another fine performance followed the next day for parents and seniors with an added finale x

This was Creagh National School’s first full scale production.  Parents were wowed with the singing and acting talents of the children of 1st Class supported by a back-stage crew from 6th Class and Ardscoil Mhuire.  Sound effects, shadow puppetry and film were all introduced in this vibrant show which played two performances. The whole school buzzed with excitement at the prospect of a real stage with real set (facilitated by Joe Murphy, Pat McGovern and Colm McCann) and everyone enjoyed the razzle-dazzle of a performance spectacle!

Congraulations to Carol McCann, Carmel O’Riordan for all their hard work in facilitating the performance and thank you to Mr Broderick for all his support in the production.
